Working together is key to success, so at The Coppice, we want to work closely with all parents.
Our teachers are always on hand at the end of the school day to pass on messages as they hand out the children and they are always happy to arrange meetings to talk things through if more time is needed.
In addition to this, we do offer two more formal meetings, one during the Autumn term and one towards the end of the Spring term. No formal meetings are arranged for the Summer term as a full written report is sent home; however, a meeting can be arranged upon request.
Each parent meeting lasts for 10 minutes and gives the teacher time to share your child’s attainment, progress, attitude to learning, what they are doing well at and what they may be finding difficult. You are also able to ask any questions about your child’s learning. These appointments take place in the two halls (EYFS and KS1 in the Church hall, whilst KS2 meetings take place in the main Junior hall). The appointments can be booked through the Weduc app. Information about booking slots is sent out a few weeks before.
We welcome the children to join you for these meetings, but this is optional.
