Lunchtime Arrangements

The Coppice is able to provide hot meals (prepared on-site). Our school lunchtime food is provided by Alliance in Partnership (AiP). You can read our current menu, or information on AiP, below.

Free School Meals are available for Reception, Y1 and Y2 children. The alternative is that children can eat their own packed lunch on our own premises. Please make sure that all lunch boxes are clearly labelled with your child’s name and class. No glass bottles may be brought to school. If parents wish their children to bring a drink as part of a packed lunch, then a ‘Tupperware’ container, polystyrene flask or similar non-breakable container should be used. Please do not put sweets in lunch boxes. Children are encouraged to bring a healthy, balanced meal including some fruit. Insulated lunch boxes are a good idea. Parents who feel they may be eligible for free meals should apply, in confidence, to the school office where forms are available (these can be posted or emailed on request). Children who live near the school may prefer to go home for lunch accompanied by an adult. Please let us know in writing if your child is going home for lunch. All School Lunches (whether paid or unpaid) need to be booked on our Parent Pay system.

Please note all school lunches, both Infants and Juniors, need to be booked through Parentpay (link can be found in 'Quicklinks').

Children receiving Universal Free School Meals, (Reception to Year 2) and children receiving means tested free school meals still need to book via Parentpay, but will not be charged.

Any queries with booking and paying for lunches should be directed to chef.

Fruit Breaks

Children can bring fruit into school each day to have during morning break time. A variety of free fruits and vegetables are provided each day for all infant and nursery children.
