'First, we got on the steam train at Kidderminster so we could travel to Highley. When we arrived, we went inside the Engine House and took part in some activities. We went inside an Anderson shelter, made rugs out of scraps of material and played games that children in the 1940s would have played. One of the games was throwing a marble through a hoop. Each hoop had a different score. Then, we went out for lunch. Afterwards, they showed us a water pump. When the teachers used it, they sprayed us with water! Overall, we had a great time.'
